You are cordially invited to the Foundation’s 20th Anniversary Celebration at the Taste of Burnt Hills from 6:00 – 8:30 pm on Monday, October 15, in the BH-BL High School cafeteria on Lakehill Road, Burnt Hills.
The event will feature signature dishes from 13 local eating establishments.
Participating this year will be: Augie’s Restaurant, Bayou Cafe, Burnt Hills Cafe, Carney’s Tavern, Charlton Tavern, Marcella’s Restaurant, Mohawk Taproom & Grill, Mr. Wok Chinese Restaurant, Pig ‘n Whistle at the Grove, Pizza Works Burnt Hills, Spartan Catering, Stella Pasta Bar & Bakery, and Villago Pizzeria & Ristorante.
In addition to a silent auction, quilt raffle, and basket raffle, the event will feature displays about the Education Foundation’s 20-year history of providing enrichment for BH-BL children. The 2018 recipient of the Jennie Pennington Education Innovator Award will also be announced.
This event raised more than $9,000 last year and is the largest single source of money for the grants that the Foundation gives twice a year for special projects and equipment requested by BH-BL staff members.
Individual tickets to the event are $30 per person. Additionally, anyone can be a Friend of the Foundation and contribute even if they can’t attend on October 15.
New this year: Local Businesses can show their support with ads in the Taste program. Learn more about this opportunity at Corporate & Individual Sponsors 2018.
