Join us for Drive-By Dinners plus a huge Gift Card Raffle

The BH-BL Education Foundation has “reimagined” its one big fundraiser in cooperation with Spartan Catering

The Education Foundation and the school district’s Spartan Catering are joining forces to offer a take-out only, socially distanced, international dinner to raise money for grants to teachers that will enhance learning in the BH-BL Schools.

Four different dinners (plus a gluten-free option) will be available for pick up from 4:00 – 6:00 pm on Wednesday, October 21, by driving through the back parking lot of the BH-BL High School. No one should need to leave their cars for pick-ups.

Drive-By Dinners –  to pre-order for $15 each

  • American:  Traditional Turkey Dinner including gravy, stuffing, mashed red bliss potatoes, glazed carrots, cranberry sauce, roll & butter, plus a chocolate chip cookie. (A gluten-free version of this dinner is also available.)
  • Asian:  Chicken Teriyaki Dinner – Chicken and vegetables sautéed in a teriyaki sauce served with noodles, a side of egg fried rice, and an almond shortbread cookie.
  • German:  Sauerbraten Dinner – Beef pot roast served with a rich tangy gravy, mashed red bliss potatoes, braised red cabbage and apples, roll & butter, plus a double chocolate cookie.
  • Italian:  Stuffed Eggplant Parmesan (vegetarian) – Spartan Catering’s signature ricotta & spinach stuffed eggplant parm, served with penne, roll & butter, plus a sugar cookie.

More details on how our socially distanced “Taste of Burnt Hills” will work

Please order your dinners and raffle entries in advance using the form below.  The last day to place an order will be Sunday, Oct. 18. This is needed so that we can give Spartan Catering a head count on Monday, Oct. 19.  However, if you forget to order in time, a limited number of “extra” dinners will be prepared and sold in-person (for cash or checks only) first come, first served on Oct. 21.

On Oct. 21, pre-ordered dinners will be ready for pick-up under the name on your order form from 4:00 – 6:00 pm. Please enter the High School back parking lot, wear your mask, follow the traffic cones, and stay in your car.

The deadline for pre-ordering dinners has passed.

Some extra dinners will be prepared and will be available for sale first come, first served at the High School starting at 4 pm.

You can also purchase raffle entries in person at the event.

Please wear a mask and drive to the high school back parking lot.
