Bringing bright ideas for life for BH-BL students!
You are cordially invited to the Taste of Burnt Hills from 6:00 – 8:00 pm on Monday, October 21, 2019, in the O’Rourke Middle School cafetorium at 173 Lakehill Road, Burnt Hills.
(Please note this is a NEW location this year!)
The event will feature signature dishes from at least 10 local eating establishments.
Participating this year will be: Augie’s Restaurant, Burnt Hills Cafe, Charlton Tavern, Marcella’s Restaurant, Mr. Wok Chinese Restaurant, Pizza Works Burnt Hills, Red Mailbox Farm Catering, Spartan Catering, Slice of Glenville, and Stella Pasta Bar & Bakery.
In addition to a silent auction and quilt raffle, the event will feature displays about the Education Foundation’s 21-year history of providing enrichment for BH-BL children. The 2019 recipient of the Jennie Pennington Education Innovator Award will also be announced.
This event raised more than $13,000 last year and is the largest single source of money for the grants that the Foundation gives twice a year for special projects and equipment requested by BH-BL staff members.
Individual tickets to the event are $30 per person. Additionally, anyone can be a Friend of the Foundation and contribute even if they can’t attend on October 21.
