The funds purchased an Apple Macintosh Mac-mini hardware and ScreenFlow 1.5 Software for Apple Macintosh which allows existing instructional materials to be enhanced and re-designed for web-based instruction.

Grant: $698

 

Kirk Buell and Paul Ried, O’Rourke Middle School

The funds were used to restore the pond at the school allowing teachers and students to use the pond for study and to enhance the outdoor area.

Grant: $800

 

Charlton Heights Elementary First Grade Teachers

The funds were used to purchase leveled books for guided reading and leveled libraries for the first grade students.

Grant: $535

The Foundation supports the youth of the Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake school community by generating and disbursing funds for services, equipment, enrichment programs, and other projects designed to enhance education.
