Fun Food Favorites — Curbside Dinners on May 17, 2023

Take a vacation from cooking on May 17 with our yummy dinners, side dishes, kid favorites & desserts.

The Education Foundation and the school district’s Spartan Catering are again joining forces to offer a Curbside Dinner to raise money for grants to teachers that will enhance learning in the BH-BL Schools.

The public is invited to place orders for a variety of food items — including kid-friendly, gluten-free & vegetarian options. Food will be available for pick up from 4:30 – 6:00 pm on Wednesday, May 17, by driving through the back parking lot of the BH-BL High School, 88 Lakehill Road.

  • Traditional Turkey Dinner with sliced turkey gravy, stuffing, mashed red bliss potatoes, glazed carrots, cranberry sauce, roll & butter. $20   Plus a FAMILY dinner with enough of these items for a family of 4 for $60. Also a Gluten-Free version of this for $21.
  • Chicken Parm Dinner which includes penne, extra sauce, tossed salad & bread. $18  Plus a Gluten-Free and a FAMILY version of this.
  • Cinnamon-Roasted Apple Salad with Chicken Dinner – Roasted apple slices with mandarin oranges, cucumbers, mixed greens AND fresh roasted chicken slices. With maple cider dressing on the side, roll & butter. $19
  • Pulled Pork Dinners – Your choice of Pork cooked in its own juices OR Pork with BBQ sauce. Both include baked beans, corn bread and coleslaw  $18
  • Stuffed Eggplant Parm Dinner (Vegetarian) – Spartan Catering’s signature ricotta & spinach stuffed eggplant parm, served with penne, roll & butter – $18
  • Butternut Squash & Apple Soup – 12 oz bowl of delicious, vegetarian & gluten-free soup with a cream base. $7
  • Italian Wedding Soup – 12 oz bowl with mini Italian meatballs, pastina, spinach & veggies. $7
  • Cinnamon-Roasted Apple Salad – Roasted apple slices with mandarin oranges, cucumbers & mixed greens, with maple-cider dressing on the side. $9
  • Fresh Fruit Salad – A medley of cut up, fresh (not canned) fruits. $6
  • Famous Macaroni & Cheese – A generous portion of this creamy Spartan Catering favorite. $7
  • Bailey’s Decadent Chocolate Cake – $7
  • Dutch Apple Pie with a Crumb Topping – A slice of fresh-baked yumminess. $7
  • Apple & Blueberry Crisp – with custard on the side. $7 (A Gluten-free version of this is available too.)
  • Chocolate Chip Cookie – A whooping 4 oz cookie in honor of May 15 National Chocolate Chip Day. $5

The DEADLINE to place an order is 5 pm on Monday, May 15. 

On May 17, your pre-ordered food will be ready for pick-up under the name on your order form from 4:30 – 6:00 pm. Please enter the High School back parking lot, pull up to the back patio, and stay in your car. Volunteers will be there to take your name and bring your bag of food out to you.

to the Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake Education Foundation website! The Foundation is run by a volunteer board and was begun in 1998 to create new opportunities for education in our community.

The Foundation supports the youth of the Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake school community by generating and disbursing funds for services, equipment, enrichment programs, and other projects designed to enhance education.
